Compared to yesterday, today was spectacular. Yesterday, my friends got mad at me for feelings I couldn’t control despite my efforts. I couldn’t blame them, I was bringing the mood down but it was still rough. I felt alone. My post yesterday helped a lot. It kind of set my goals. I will be somebody and I need it to happen.
I thought a lot about hope today. While passing notes in class (hehe :]) my mind came across the topic of hope. Of course, it was a relevant topic to the note so it wasn’t like a random thing. I felt that Sam had sort of lost hope and it made me sort of in a way sad. Hope is the one thing that anybody can have. Rich or poor, for better or worse, one can always have hope and should try not to give it up. I feel that hope is bridge between dreams and reality. If you hope something will happen, it might help you look for ways to make it happen. I tried to remind her that she needs to keep hope, don’t let it go because if you let hope go, what are you left with?
I still believe. I know we can do it. I want to do it. If we can succeed in this industry, a dream would have been accomplished. Sam doesn’t want me to wait for her but I’m not waiting for her, I’m waiting with her. I don’t want her to feel like she is a burden because, to be honest, she’s one of my best friends. I probably trust her more than anybody else. I just wish she could see that I don’t want to do this without her. Even if I did have the talent, I don’t want to. I feel like she’d be the one person who could keep me grounded, keep me real in a fake world.
Sam, don’t give up hope. I love you and your amazing in so many ways. we can do it, whenever your ready even if it takes years. who cares about broadway? i love this too.
